In a group singing context, everybody has something to contribute. Workplace Choir of the Year  is not like other choral competitions. You will not be judged harshly for musical or technical imperfections. The audience and the judges are just looking for passion and enjoyment in the performance. There is no syllabus and there are no musical rules. If you want to perform a very simple song without any harmonies, go right ahead.

“Let’s democratise and de-formalise choral music.”If you’re somebody who thinks (or has been told!) that you “haven’t a note in your head”, then you will be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you can find your way when singing with a group of friends and colleagues. At rehearsal sessions, the choir works together to instinctively correct minor tuning and timing issues… and this is evident just a few minutes in to their first rehearsal.

It is never too late to start your musical journey. Don’t spend another day wishing you’d kept up your piano lessons. Let’s democratise and de-formalise choral music.

Gather some colleagues and give it a go.
